How can I get my figure back?

One great perk about breastfeeding is that the excess weight you may have put on seems to just melt away! Breastfeeding uses a lot of energy and aids your uterus to contract in the early days. If you have eaten well during pregnancy, this leaves little need for dieting or intense exercise. The time after you give birth is an important time for your body to recover and rejuvenate.

Breastfeeding, eating nutritious meals and exercising lightly will help you get your shape bake. If you have put on extra pounds during pregnancy and you feel that they are not simply vanishing, be sure that what you’re eating is nutritionally packed. Stick to meals based on whole grains, fresh produce, and beans. Avoid eating food that contains empty calories and little nutrients, such as white pasta and breads. Also, be sure to limit your fruit to two servings a day too avoid consuming too much sugar. Drink plenty of water and avoid juices and soda. You’ll find that if you focus on eating food high in vitamins and minerals, such as fresh produce and whole grains, you won’t have room left for packaged foods, snacks, and sweets that add on kilos.
